Vladimir Kolotushkin has become a new Director of JSC “Uralelectromed”

Vladimir Kolotushkin has been appointed as a new Director of Uralelectromed (Metallurgical Complex of UMMC-Holding). Previously he occupied a position of the General Director of Shadrinsk plant of automobile units (Automotive Complex of UMMC-Holding). Today Vladimir Kolotushkin has been introduced to the employees of the Uralelectromed.

“Vladimir Kolotushkin has been working for the Company for almost 10 years from the very establishment of the UMMC, - commented on the decision Andrey Kozitsyn, the General Director of the UMMC-Holding. – We know him being an experienced and competent manager. We must mention that he has always reached the set goals that is not easy especially considering the fact that his company Shadrinsk plant of automobile units works on a highly competitive market. I think that business and personal qualities of Vladimir Kolotushkin will be of use here and help while solving the objectives of Uralelectromed”.

“First of all it is a great responsibility for me,” Vladimir Kolotushkin said in turn. “And I’ll do my best to justify the management confidence. Besides, I rely upon support of the managers’ team that currently works at Uralelectromed. They are real experts of high qualification”.

As it was announced Alexander Kozitsyn, the former director of Uralelectromed, wrecked tragically in a car accident in January 5, 2009. Up to the date Victor Ashikhin, Chief Engineer, has been Acting Director of Uralelectromed. As for the Shadrinsk Plant of Automobile Units, the Board of Directors of SHAAZ appointed Victor Okhulkov, ex-commercial director of the company, as a new Director of SHAAZ.

Vladimir S. Kolotushkin was born in June, 9 1952 in Chapaevsk city, Kuibyshev oblast. In 1974 he graduated from Kuibyshev Polytechnic Institute majoring in “Power Supply of Industrial and Agricultural Sectors”. He embarked upon a career in 1974 as a newcomer in the Shadrinsk Plant of Automobile Units.

In July, 1976 he was appointed as a Deputy Head of Power-Supply Workshop.

From 1979 to 1981 he served in the Soviet Army.

In September 1981 he headed Preventive Schedule Bureau of Chief Power Engineer Department in the Shadrinsk Plant of Automobile Units. In January, 1983 he occupied a position of Chief Engineer, in 1987- of Deputy Chief Engineer and later- of Chief Engineer. In 1992 he was appointed as 1st Deputy General Director-Technical Director.

In July of 1997 Mr. Kolotushkin was elected as General Director of Shadrinsk Plant of Automobile Units at the Shareholders Meeting.

In April of 2002 he was also elected as a Director of one more engineering plant incorporated in UMMC-Holding – the Orenburg Radiator.

He was elected twice as a Deputy of Kurgan Regional Duma in 2000 and 2004, where he was leading the Economic Policy Committee.

Mr. Kolotushkin is married and he is a father of two children.

Vladimir Kolotushkin is awarded with the Order of the Friendship (in 2000) and with the Order of Sergius of Radonezh of III degree (in 2007). He has “Honorary engineering worker” (in 2002) and “Honored engineer of RF” (in 2007) title. He was twice ranked as the one of “1000 top professional manager of Russia”.
