Russian Minister of Industry and Trade visits SKT Group plant in Pskov

Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov and Governor of the Pskov Region Mikhail Vedernikov visited the SKT Group plant in Pskov.

SKT Group LLC is an industrial manufacturing company established in 2018 as part of Akron Holding. It consolidated the former plants Pskovgeokabel, Pskovelektrosvar, and Sevkabel.

Representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Pskov Region toured the plant’s production lines and workshops and reviewed samples of finished products, including cable systems for various applications and unique welding complexes.

Employees demonstrated the welding process using the *Sever-1 M* complex to produce large-diameter pipe samples used in the construction of main gas pipelines.

Anton Alikhanov and Mikhail Vedernikov discussed import substitution opportunities, export potential, production capacity, and development prospects for the plant with its management.

The company’s products are used in the nuclear industry, machinery and shipbuilding, energy, metallurgy, and construction. They are in steady demand not only in Russia but also in Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.
