TMK supplied pipes to Lukoil's project in Uzbekistan
The shipment consisted of the 88.9x6.45 mm H2S-resistant steel tubing compliant with the API 5CT standard and complete with ТМК UP РF premium threaded connections. The tubes were produced at TMK's Sinarsky Pipe Plant. The manufacturing process was overseen by an independent monitor, the Swiss Engineering Group, as required by the contract.
Lukoil Uzbekistan Operating Company will use these pipes to develop the gas condensate fields of the Kandym group located in the Bukhara-Khiva Region (southwest Uzbekistan). The Russian operator is currently developing the Kandym project based on a production sharing agreement (PSA) with the Uzbekneftegaz National Holding Company.
