OMZ-Izhora research center confirmed right to produce equipment for nuclear plants

OMZ-Izhora research center, part of OMZ Group, has successfully passed the document expertise procedure, and received permission to produce equipment for nuclear plants.

As a result of the expertise OMZ-Izhora has received the license, which confirms the right to produce nuclear power stations, ships and other vessels with nuclear reactors, facilities, industrial complexes, experimental and research reactors, facilities, facilities for the production, use, recycling, transportation of nuclear fuel and nuclear materials.

The license was issued by the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision and is valid until 31 August 2019.

OMZ-Izhora research center is based on the Central Laboratory of Izhorskiye Zavody. The center has a material and resource base for a wide range of tests and research on domestic and foreign standards. As the leading material organization within the structure of OMZ Group, the research center provides engineering support for all orders, has the potential to perform research, development and technological work, the examination of the design and technological documentation.
