MMK-Metiz overlooks 1H 2011 operational results

1H 2011 steel products output of MMK-Metiz reached 236.6k tons (15.8% up to 30k tons as compared to the corresponding period 2010).

The highest growth was achieved in the following types of hardware products: wire nails (35%), net (54%), and powder wire (19%).

Revenues from sales amounted to 7 879.5 billion rubles, which is higher as compared to the corresponding period 2010.

The major revenue share for the last 6 months accounted for the following products: wire (30%), fastener (23%), tape, stripes (15%).

According to the Prommetiz Association, market share of “MMK-Metiz”, one of the leading manufacturers of metal products in Russian market, in 2Q of 2011 reached 20%.
