OMZ-Izhora research and development center successfully completes accreditation for technical competence and independence

The research and development center (NITS OOO TK OMZ-Izhora) has successfully completed the regular accreditation in the GOST R ISO/IEC 17025-2006 system.

The accreditation certificate (#ROSS RU. 0001. 21 ChS 32, valid until July 14, 2016) attests that the research and development center conforms to the requirements of the GOST R ISO/MEK 17025-2006 standard (ISO/IEC 17025:2005) and is accredited for technical competence and independence to conduct testing tasks according to the certification field.

The accreditation is confirmed in the United Registry of organizations accredited by the Federal Agency of Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandard).

The center’s field of accreditation includes both traditional products and products tested according to a number of technical regulations, including various international standards (ASME, ATSM, etc.). These products include steels, heavy, energy, transport, chemical and petrochemical equipment, general purpose machinery, nuclear equipment, metal products, pipes, industrial products, non-ferrous metals and ferrous alloys.

Accreditation of the research and development center in the GOST R system is a result of constant hard work of all its employees, and is a proof of its competence that guarantees a high quality of service provided to the customers.

The environment laboratory of the research and development center has also been accredited again in the analytical laboratory accreditation system (SAAL). ROSS RU.0001.515536 accreditation certificate is valid until July 12, 2016. The field of accreditation comprises fresh and sewage water, industrial emissions, air and the working environment.
