The charge of steel enterprises in February increased by 15-17%, said Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Viktor Khristenko on the «Russian News Service» radio station. «This is caused by some sort of action of such speculative factors as traders for instance, who oder that steel with the hope that in June, the demand will increase due to construction», - said B. Khristenko. « Today I have spoken with several major steel plants. In March they are gaining say, half of the capacity, I am talking about the steel industry, but the situation in April is still uncertain». «The situation which formed in the industry - in December, January, and February – has one thing in common: extremely high degree of uncertainty, and it’s not only the state of the Russian industry, but the state of the world economy», - said the minister.
