Russian Railways (RZD): Loading of metallurgical raw materials for export Increased by 9.6% in January-February

Metallurgical raw materials loading for export via the RZD network increased by 9.6%, according to an official announcement on RZD’s Telegram channel.

"In January-February 2025, 2.5 million tons were loaded. This includes 2.3 million tons of iron ore (+9%) and 155.7 thousand tons (+18.6%) of scrap metal," the statement noted.

In the eastern direction, 1.3 million tons (+12.4%) of metallurgical raw materials were shipped for export, while 656 thousand tons (+8%) were transported westward and 573.2 thousand tons (+5.6%) southward.
