OMK Announced as the Best Pipe Producer in Oil and Gas Industry

The United Metallurgical Company (CJSC OMK, Moscow) was announced as the best pipe producer in the oil and gas industry in 2012. The awards ceremony was held on March 14, 2013 in Moscow at Neftegazsnab 2013, the 8th annual conference. Marketing Director Ilya Kolomeets received the award on the company’s behalf.

The company was announced as the best producer according to the rating of the Coordinating Council of Oil and Gas Industry Consumers. The Council’s key task is to arrange interaction between supply departments of oil and gas companies. The rating was made on the basis of assessments from the industry’s major players: Rosneft, Gazpromneft, TNK-BP, Surgutneftegas, Tatneft, Bashneft and NOVATEK. Consumers estimated sales activity of the following companies: TMK, Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant, Urals Pipe Works, Severstal, KSP Steel, Gazpromtrubinvest, Iterpipe M and OMK.
