Refined copper output in Russia grew by 4.6% in 2010

According to the Federal State Statistics Service, in 2010 refined copper production has increased by 4.6% to 2009, copper wire: by 32.9 %, plates, sheets, strips and tapes: by 32.1%, and foil: by 76.3 %. However ,copper bars and profiles output reduced to 6.3%.

As to production results of December, 2010 as compared to the corresponding period 2009 refined copper production has fallen to 10.3%, copper bars and profiles: by 10,4%, but plates, sheets, strips and tapes output has grown by 10.5%, foil: by 23.9 %.
