Gurievsk Steel Mill to increase output

Gurievsk Steel Mill produced 18.6kt of open-hearth steel in April 2010 which is 88% more as compared to a corresponding period of 2009 (9.9kt). In April the mill produced 19.9kt of marketable rolled products which is almost 5times more compared to April 2009 (3.9kt) including 8.4kt of grinding balls (92 % more compared to April 2009: 4. 4kt).
The total of 57.6kt of steels have been melted since the beginning of 2010 (+47.1% against the results of 2009: 39.2kt); marketable rolled products: 74.5kt (+285.3%) including grinding balls: 32kt (2.1 times more compared to a corresponding period of 2009: 15kt.
