OMZ Scientific and Research Center to be certified by Russian Marine Register of Shipping

OMZ Izhora, part of OMZ Group has been recertified for high standards of quality of shipbuilding by Russian Marine Register of Shipping, one of the most authoritative certification societies, a member of International Association of Classification Societies (IACS).
The recertification was carried out in compliance with regulations of ships classification and building as well as regulations of technical surveillance of shipbuilding and manufacture of materials and parts for shipbuilding.
The certificate valid until December 2014, confirms that OMZ Scientific and Research Center is competent in the matters of shipbuilding and complies with the regulations of Russian Marine Register of Shipping concerning the tests of the items certified including a wide range of steel stampings, flats, tubular products, castings, welding materials, fluxes etc.
