VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation Board of Directors reviewed the corporate management development programs

The scale of business carried out by Corporation, new big contracts and highly competitive titanium market make the company introduce the further advanced approaches to be applied to administration.

August 05 the Board of Directors made a decision on the change in the administration as regards the position of the president of JSC VSMPO-AVISMA Corporation directly subordinate to the Board of Directors.

At the regular Board of Directors meeting, which was scheduled for the end of August, the documents will be reviewed, which specify the relation between the Corporation President, Board of Directors and Director General, and the conditions of the labor contract will be discussed with the candidate for a President position.

Upon coordination of the internal documents and drafting of the labor contract, Vladislav V.Tetjukhin will be assigned the VSMPO-AVISMA President since September 01, 2008.

Evgeniy Vladimirovich Romanov will be assigned Director General of VSMPO-AVISMA since September 01, 2008.

Biographical reference of E.V.Romanov – date of birth November 20, 1961 in Sverdlovsk, graduated from the Ural Polytechnical University, subject: «mechanical electronic engineering», got the second higher education in 1993. Being the Chief Acocuntant in 1995 with the functions of the Director on Finance in the Ural Electromehcanical factory, he took the place of the specialist in ONEKSIM Bank.
He occupied the position of the Vice president in AKB Rosbank in 1999. Since 2000 he has been working in JSC Norilsk Nickel. During the work period he occupied the positions of the Director General Adviser in Norilsk Nickel, Director General of Kolsk Mining Company, Manager of the Directorate at the Mining and Smelting TransPolar Affiliate of Norilsk Nickel . Married, having two children.
