ChTPZ Group Ferrous Division - Reduce By 10%
Chelyabinsk Tube-Rolling Plant and Pervouralsk New Pipe Plant shipped 867.8 thousand tn of pipe products to customers in the first six months of 2008, a decrease of 10% as compared to the same period of 2007 (969.5 thousand tn).
January through June 2008, Chelyabinsk Tube-Rolling Plant shipped 463.4 thousand tn of pipe products to customers, 14% less than for the same period of 2007 (539 thousand tn). For this period the plant shipped 235 thousand tonnes of large-diameter pipes, 22% less than for the six months of 2007 (302.6 thousand tn).
In June 2008 ChTPZ shipped 77.6 thousand tn of pipe products to customers, a decrease of 9% as compared to June 2007 (85.7 thousand tn). The plant shipped 36.8 thousand tn of large-diameter pipes in June, 21% less than for the same month a year ago (46.4 thousand tn).
In June 2008 PNTZ shipped 68.8 thousand tn of pipe products to its customers, a decrease of 8% as compared to June 2007 (74.8 thousand tn). Since the year beginning the plant shipped 404.4 thousand tn, 6% less than for the same period a year ago (430.5 thousand tn).
