Rimera Has Acquired Drilling Company “Taimyrnefterazvedka”
Rimera Company, an oilfield service division of ChTPZ Group, has acquired 100% of the shares in the largest drilling company in Taimyr Autonomous Okrug of Krasnoyarsk Krai – Taimyrnefterazvedka JSC.
Today Taimyrnefterazvedka accounts for 70% of exploration drilling in Taimyr Region. The company operates in the areas with anomalously low and anomalously high formation pressure.  Since 1964 Taimyrnefterazvedka has constructed oil and gas wells on 50 plots situated in the following oil provinces: Yenisei-Khatangskay, Anabaro-Khatangskay, Severo-Tunguskaya and Pur-Tazovskaya. The company’s operation area has the radius of more than 600 km, where the town of Dudinka is the center and where the main workshop is situated. The company currently employs about 380 people. The key clients of Taimyrnefterazvedka are Rosneft and TNK-BP.
Vladimir Khristenko, CEO of Rimera Company claimed: “acquisition of drilling companies will enable Rimera to develop integrated oilfield service solutions, which will be unique for the national market and will include exploration, drilling, EPC as well as design and construction of pipelines and field facilities”.

(all represented by ChTPZ-КТS), ALNAS OJSC (a leader of Russian oil engineering industry), Yuganskneftegazgeofizika LLC and Tomskneftegazgeofizika LLC (key players on geophysical services market in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug and Tomsk Oblast) as well as a network of servicing centers located in major oil producing regions in Russia: cities of Almetevsk, Nizhnevartovsk, Surgut, Nyagan, Izhevsk, Usinsk, Nefteyugansk, Kogalym, Perm, Buguruslan. The company has also representative offices in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, the Ukraine, Uzbekistan.
